Breast Surgery

Depending on pregnancies, breastfeeding, weight gain or loss and aging, breasts can deform, sag, loosen, grow or shrink.
These changes and deformations can adversely affect the person both physically and psychologically.
There are many different types of aesthetic surgery to change the aesthetic appearance of the breasts and to solve the physical problems caused by them.

Breast Enlargement (Breast Augmentation)

Breast enlargement (breast augmentation) procedures are generally applied to small breast which cannot complete growth due to different reasons, or reduced breasts after breastfeeding or weight loss.
For breasts that need very little more volume, the patient’s own fat tissue can be used. Also, dermal fillers called hyaluronic acid may be used.
But the most common method is silicone prosthesis. With the developing technology, silicone prostheses, which become very safe, can be inserted into the breast from several different points such as;
  • armpit
  • under the breast
  • nipple
Silicone prosthesis are placed either under the breast tissue or under the muscle tissue, or under the muscle membrane, by entering through a small incision. The place where the silicone prosthesis will be placed depends on the size or the amount of the patient’s breast tissue.

Breast Reduction

If there is a disproportional largeness in the breasts, this can lead to both aesthetic and functional problems. Large breasts can lead to neck, shoulder and back pain. In fact, this can lead to postural disorders and these disorders may become permanent.
Breast reduction techniques vary according to the size and sag amount of the breasts.
Free Nipple Graft Technique
It is a technique applied on very large breasts, by removing the nipple, reducing the breast size and then forming a new nipple.
With this technique, too much breast tissue can be removed, and the breast can be reduced as much as desired, but the sensation of the nipple will most probably be lost and patient cannot be able to breastfeed.
Flap Technique
It is a technique in which the nipple and breast tissue are preserved, and the nipples are moved upwards after the excess tissue has been removed. Because flap technique usually protects the breast tissue, patients can breastfeed and there is little or no sensation loss at the nipple.

Breast Lifting

Breast lifting surgeries are usually done to correct sag and looseness without excess or absence in the breast tissue.
During breast lifting operations, the breast tissue is kept alive and moved to the area where it should be, at the same time the tissues around the breast are reshaped and the breast is given the ideal shape.
Techniques to be applied for breast lifting vary depending on the amount of sagging.
If there is a slight sag in the breasts; a breast lifting can be done with only a small incision made around the nipple. With this technique, the incision is made from the nipple and the breast tissue is corrected and hung upwards.
If there is a sagging at the advanced level, the connective tissue that holds the breast gland and the tissue of the milk glands become thinner and more sagged therefore incision is made from the nipple to under the breast. After the sagged and thinned tissues are repaired, the nipple is hung upwards.

Breast Asymmetry

After pregnancy, breastfeeding, aging, various diseases, excessive weight gain, excessive weight loss and puberty, a breast can have a different size or shape from the other breast.
Different methods and techniques can be used in asymmetric breast surgery.
Sometimes the overgrown breast can be minimized and sometimes the smaller breast can be enlarged with the silicone prosthesis.
In some cases, breast reduction is performed for the large breast while at the same time, a breast enlargement can be performed for the small breast.
It may be preferable to use the fat cells of the patient’s own body instead of the silicone prosthesis to fix the asymmetry in the patient with low degrees of asymmetry.
In addition to shape and size equalization, inequalities in the nipple can also be repaired in a breast asymmetry surgery.
Breast asymmetry surgery can be performed under general or local anesthesia according to the patient’s preference.
In general, the milk ducts will not be damaged if the surgery does not require excessive tissue removal.

Nipple Correction Surgery

Nipple correction surgery corrects problems associated with enlarged, asymmetrical, protruding or inverted nipples and can be seen in both men and women.
Nipple correction surgeries are performed under local anesthesia with minor surgical interventions.
In the nipple correction surgeries, the milk ducts and ties that draw the nipple inward are cut and the nipple is released. In order not to have the problem again, different tissues may be placed underneath after the nipple is released.

What Is Cataract?

Cataract is the opacity of the lens by losing its transparency. The eye has an optical structure and the images coming from the external environment are first refracted through the cornea, which is the transparent layer on the outermost part of the eye, and then through the lens layer inside the eye, and thus it is clearly transmitted to the visual center. It causes the images to be blurred and not transmitted to the center of vision clearly by adding the lens formed in the lens. Sometimes cataracts become so intense that people cannot see anything except to feel the light. People who develop cataracts see it as if they are looking through a misty or frosted glass. Although there are many types of cataracts, the most common cataracts are cataracts that develop with age.   What are the Cataract types? Nuclear cataracts: A nuclear cataract may at first cause a temporary improvement in your vision. But with time, the lens gradually turns more densely yellow and further cloud...

Periodontology (Gum Disease)

In cases where oral care is inadequate, a bacterial plaque that is a rich, soft, sticky layer of microorganisms on the tooth surface accumulates. This layer causes gingivitis with tooth decay. Healthy gums are pale pink in color, with orange peel appearance and hardness. When the gums lose their health they are swollen, red, bleeding and moving. If the treatment is delayed, the tooth stones accumulate causing the bone surrounding the tooth to erase. The gums start to pull out. This condition is both sensitive to heat changes and causes aesthetic problems as well as oral odor and even dental inflammation in very advanced conditions. If they go further, tooth loss starts. Gum disease also occurs in the case of inadequate oral care, hormonal changes, genetic factors, drug use, some systemic diseases; If there is a problem already existing, it progresses rapidly. There is a gap between the tooth and the gum called pocket which we can not see with eyes. It should be treated when it re...

Orthodontic Treatment (Dental and Jaw Disorders)

Orthodontics is the science that deals with the position and structure of teeth and jaws. At the same time, treatment of disorders of the developmental process with various mechanisms can be performed in individuals with facial and jaw disorders. In adult patients, treatment with transparent aplasia or more aesthetic and invisible systems is widely used.
