Implant Dental Treatment

Implant dental treatment is an important treatment alternative that is often used to support the retention of dentures in the presence of both existing teeth and in the presence of removable dentures.
Tooth loss due to reasons such as rottenness, trauma, gum problems also brings with it a lot of functional, aesthetic and talking problems. These losses can be treated with fixed or mobile prostheses. In a fixed prosthetic treatment, existing healthy teeth may need to be intervened, while moving prostheses may not always offer the comfort that the patient expects in terms of retention and stability.

Before Implant Tooth Treatment

In a patient in need of implant dentistry, the general health status of the patient before deciding to apply should be assessed in detail to determine whether the implant site is suitable for both hard and soft tissue.
Again, it is necessary to decide what type of prosthesis should be done before placement of the implants, and the number, size, and position of the implants should be determined accordingly.

Dental Implant Treatment

It may be necessary to wait a certain period of time for the connection between the implant and the bone to occur after implantation of the implant. Depending on certain criteria, immediate loading can be performed and a temporary or permanent prosthesis can be applied immediately following implant surgery to the patient.
The patient’s bone structure may not always be suitable for implant applications. The presence of significant anatomical structures in the upper jaw and lower canal may pose a hazard to implant placement. In these cases, it may be possible to apply the implant by supporting bone grafts of the existing bone marrow or artificially used to support the implant.
Dental implant therapy is usually performed under local anesthesia. Where local anesthesia is not appropriate or the use of tissues to provide wider bone grafts such as the hip or leg may be required, the procedure may need to be performed under general anesthesia.

After Implant Dental Treatment

Following the surgery, the sutures are removed after 1 week in cases where the waiting period is appropriate, and the patient is left to the healing process. This process can range from 6 weeks to 6 months. Constructive or mobile prostheses last 10-20 days.
Maintenance of up-dental prosthesis is as important as treatment. It is a large part of the success that patients attach importance to hygienic approaches that extend the life of the prosthesis.

What Is Cataract?

Cataract is the opacity of the lens by losing its transparency. The eye has an optical structure and the images coming from the external environment are first refracted through the cornea, which is the transparent layer on the outermost part of the eye, and then through the lens layer inside the eye, and thus it is clearly transmitted to the visual center. It causes the images to be blurred and not transmitted to the center of vision clearly by adding the lens formed in the lens. Sometimes cataracts become so intense that people cannot see anything except to feel the light. People who develop cataracts see it as if they are looking through a misty or frosted glass. Although there are many types of cataracts, the most common cataracts are cataracts that develop with age.   What are the Cataract types? Nuclear cataracts: A nuclear cataract may at first cause a temporary improvement in your vision. But with time, the lens gradually turns more densely yellow and further cloud...

Periodontology (Gum Disease)

Healthy gums are pale pink in color, with orange peel appearance and hardness. When the gums lose their health they are swollen, red, bleeding and moving. If the treatment is delayed, the tooth stones accumulate causing the bone surrounding the tooth to erase. The gums start to pull out. This condition is both sensitive to heat changes and causes aesthetic problems as well as oral odor and even dental inflammation in very advanced conditions. If they go further, tooth loss starts. Gum disease also occurs in the case of inadequate oral care, hormonal changes, genetic factors, drug use, some systemic diseases; If there is a problem already existing, it progresses rapidly. There is a gap between the tooth and the gum called pocket which we can not see with eyes. It should be treated when it re...
