Vaginoplasty

The vagina is functionally a primary reproductive organ. However, because the vagina is the basic symbol of sexuality for women, it is expected that the appearance of the vagina will be the same as during the young maiden age in all stages of life.
The appearance of the vagina varies according to the geographical region and genetic factors, but it has an ideal appearance that many people have accepted. The ideal vagina appearance is a closed structure where the inner lips are covered by outer lips.
  • Pregnancy,
  • Giving natural childbirth,
  • Hormonal changes,
  • A weakness of the vaginal tissues,
  • Genetic factors or age-related changes
may lead to deformations in the genital area.
Deformations of the outer lips of the vagina, disrupt the aesthetics of the vagina and cause the inner lips to appear from outside.
Inner lips can enlarge over time and change color. The enlarged inner lips become wet and this disturbs women in terms of hygiene, and it also can cause aesthetically bad appearance. Especially, after giving natural childbirth and sexual intercourse, vagina structure can get enlarged.  Over time, this enlargement may affect pleasure during sexual intercourse negatively.

Vaginoplasty Surgery

Vaginoplasty operations are usually performed with general anesthesia. If the patient prefers, it can also be done with local anesthesia.
In vaginoplasty operations, the vagina, inner lips and outer lips are evaluated together, and the problematic area is identified and then intervened. It is often necessary to intervene in these three areas.
It is more convenient to perform the surgery from inside to outside in terms of ease of operation and planning.
  • The vaginal mucosa is removed during vaginal constriction. The underlying muscles are repaired, excess mucosa is removed, and ideal tightness and form of the vagina are created.
  • Then the excess on the inner lips is removed. The most important point here is that the removal of the tissue in the clitoris area is calculated very well. Too much removal causes the clitoris to fully open and, the clitoris can even touch to lingerie what can make the patient feel uncomfortable. A too slight removal may cause arousal problems because the tissue closes the clitoris.
  • Finally, the outer lips are intervened. The purpose here is to give the outer lips a full-volume form. Thus, by covering both the inner lips and the vaginal opening, both aesthetic and hygienic conditions are provided. The outer lips usually deform due to volume loss. In order to repair this volume loss either the form is obtained using the person’s own fat, or with hyaluronic acid fillers.

Post-Vaginoplasty Surgery

The patient stays in the hospital on the night of surgery and discharges the next day after all the post-op checks.
Vaginoplasty is not a very painful operation as it is thought.
If vaginal narrowing was performed in the surgery sexual intercourse should be avoided for 3 weeks. If vaginal narrowing was not performed in the surgery sexual intercourse should be avoided for 2 weeks.
The patient can take a shower two days after the operation.
Short walks are advised to reduce the edema.
Depending on the methods used and the size of the operation, the patient can return to work 3-5 days after the surgery.
Generally, absorbed seams are used in vaginoplasty surgery so there is no need to remove the seams.

Labiaplasty

The vagina has a flexible and expandable structure, and due to different reasons; sagging, loosening, and discoloration problems may occur in the vaginal lips and internal area.
If the inner lips of the vagina entrance and the outer lips just outside them are sagging, are asymmetric or larger than normal, the operation applied to repair deformations in the vagina lips is called labiaplasty.
Why Vaginal Lips Become Deformed?
In some women, rapid hormonal changes in adolescence can lead to deformations in the vaginal lips.
Chronic vaginal infections can form a color change and structural disorder in the vaginal lips.
Asymmetric vaginal lips are usually from birth, but after puberty, this asymmetry may become more pronounced and this can also starts to disturb the person.

Labiaplasty Surgery

Labiaplasty operations take about half an hour on average.
Surgery usually takes place under local anesthesia. General anesthesia can also be applied if the patient asks for it.

After Labiaplasty Surgery

Patients can return to their normal lives immediately after the surgery.
After the labiaplasty surgery, sexual intercourse should be avoided for an average of 3 weeks.
It is recommended not to take a shower for the first 2 days after the labiaplasty surgery.
Detailed personal hygiene and cleaning methods will be explained by the doctor.
Generally, absorbed seams are used in labiaplasty surgery so there is no need to remove the seams.
After the recovery process, there will be no scar from the operation, and unless the patient tells, nobody will understand that he/she had surgery.

What Is Cataract?

Cataract is the opacity of the lens by losing its transparency. The eye has an optical structure and the images coming from the external environment are first refracted through the cornea, which is the transparent layer on the outermost part of the eye, and then through the lens layer inside the eye, and thus it is clearly transmitted to the visual center. It causes the images to be blurred and not transmitted to the center of vision clearly by adding the lens formed in the lens. Sometimes cataracts become so intense that people cannot see anything except to feel the light. People who develop cataracts see it as if they are looking through a misty or frosted glass. Although there are many types of cataracts, the most common cataracts are cataracts that develop with age.   What are the Cataract types? Nuclear cataracts: A nuclear cataract may at first cause a temporary improvement in your vision. But with time, the lens gradually turns more densely yellow and further cloud...

Periodontology (Gum Disease)

In cases where oral care is inadequate, a bacterial plaque that is a rich, soft, sticky layer of microorganisms on the tooth surface accumulates. This layer causes gingivitis with tooth decay. Healthy gums are pale pink in color, with orange peel appearance and hardness. When the gums lose their health they are swollen, red, bleeding and moving. If the treatment is delayed, the tooth stones accumulate causing the bone surrounding the tooth to erase. The gums start to pull out. This condition is both sensitive to heat changes and causes aesthetic problems as well as oral odor and even dental inflammation in very advanced conditions. If they go further, tooth loss starts. Gum disease also occurs in the case of inadequate oral care, hormonal changes, genetic factors, drug use, some systemic diseases; If there is a problem already existing, it progresses rapidly.
